Lauren Martin LMSW Owner
I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding the right fit matters. Because of that, I’ve built this practice with intention — to offer a steady, empowering environment where clients can feel heard, respected, and in control of their healing process.
I graduated with my Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky and have been in practice since 2022, working with adolescents and young adults across a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My clinical focus is centered on supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual trauma. I approach this work from a trauma-informed perspective, helping clients rebuild a sense of safety, strengthen boundaries, and reconnect with their own resilience.
I opened True North Therapy & Wellness out of a desire to provide care that feels both grounded and meaningful — a space where therapy is not rushed or one-size-fits-all, but instead tailored to each individual. I believe that healing happens when clients feel secure enough to explore their experiences and empowered enough to move forward with clarity and confidence.
My role is to walk alongside you with consistency and respect, helping you reconnect with your strengths and move toward lasting, sustainable change.
